Ib (pronounced "Eeb") was born in Eugene, Oregon, USA
and raised by his Norwegian father and American mother in Sweden, Malawi and South Africa.

After completing an undergraduate degree in history and languages
he completed a graduate degree in Divinity in the USA.
He has 12 years of law enforcement experience at Sheriff Offices in Colorado, USA.

He is married with six grown children. He lived and worked in Grenada, West Indies for seven years.
He currently lives with his wife Rachel in Northern Colorado and works in law enforcement.

He enjoys the study of theology, philosophy, culture and criminal justice.
When he is not busy working or writing he is exercising, hiking, reading,
and praying for another opportunity to sail.

BOOK ONE

Sten Dahl, a Reserve Deputy Sergeant from Colorado, is on his small yacht in Prickly Bay, Grenada. Alone. A muffled knocking on his hull reveals otherwise. The dead has come knocking.
